Kittens Available - NOW - 5/31/08

I just wanted to let everyone know that we do have kittens available.

The youngest litter has just turned 12 weeks old and are now ready to be placed in new homes. In this litter we have 1 Male, Black Tiger with Brown, he also has white markings on his chin and around his eyes (it looks like eyeliner and makes the eyes stand out so much more). Their is also 2 females, Shaded Black with Silver, they also have some white accents. These three are really great kittens, they have wonderful personalities and energy abounding!!! They play just as hard as they can and then crash and sleep like a hibernating bear. They would make a wonderful addition to your family.

Next we have 1 female Black and Silver Tiger. She is 6 months old and just as cute as can be. She thinks she is as big as the adult cats and loves to play with everyone. She has beautiful coloring, instead of having solid black stripes, her stripes are actually a series of dashes. It is a very attractive color pattern. She is absolutely full of herself, still young enough to really the running and playing hard, but old enough to have more control over her energy. She is a real sweetheart and is looking for someone to adopt her as their own forever cat.

The third litter still has 2 kittens available. They are 8 months old and are showing signs of being very large Honey Bear Cats!!! Their is 1 each female and male. The male is huge and has a gorgeous coat pattern. He is a Shaded Gray with several degrees of grey and a touch of brown on his back, the brown is single hairs dispersed evenly over his back. The brown blends right in with the gray giving him a darker look. His colors are sort of running together and the arrangement of the pattern is changing as he gets a bit older. He is already bigger than any of the adult females and is running a close second to several of the adult males. He has a long way to grow so he will be a massive cat when he matures. His sister is a Silver Tiger with White. Her coat is is also blending some. She is going to be a very large female. She is already as big or bigger than most of the other females here and has a long way to grow. These 2 kittens are a bit more mellow than the younger ones. They have grown up enough to appreciate some quiet time on someones lap or chair, but still have explosive play times.

All of the above mentioned kittens are available for sale to approved homes. If you are interested in one of these beautiful kittens, please contact me for more information.

Have a wonderful day,

Take care of yourself and those your love and cherish,

The colors of Honey Bears are always changing!

As you can see from some of the photos in this blog, Honey Bear Kittens come in a huge array of colors and patterns. Everyone can find a color or color combination that is right for them. Honey Bears are born nearly completely black, but lighten as they grow, but don't close your eyes because the next time you look your Honey Bear might be a different color. The resulting color can be anywhere from shades of Black and Dark Silver to White with silver tips! I also get some Black Tigers with Brown or Silver. As they mature some of the kittens will start showing a bit of blush or peach color on their cheeks, under their chins or on their belly. If you ever have the opportunity to be owned by one of these gems, you should take lots of photos as their colors are ever changing. Make sure you date your photos. When you look back over the years it is possible that you will not remember what color your Honey Bear was when you got him or her. The color changes are dramatic and exciting. Their is never a dull moment in a house that belongs to a Honey Bear Cat!!

Honey Bear Cats

HONEY BEAR CATS According to the breed legend, The Honey Bear breed was scientifically created in a laboratory by adding selected genetic material from a Skunk to a female Persian cat with excellent results - a large, good-natured cat filled with fun, spirit, curiosity and an endearing personality.

Honey Bears have a very distinctive appearance to match their unique and unusual personality. They have a broad head like the Persian with rounded, tufted ears and a nose that is medium to short in length. Their round to almond-shaped eyes come in a variety of remarkable golden colors, including pure gold, greenish gold, golden brown, and copper with a hint of orange. Honey Bears are large, stocky cats with relatively short legs and rounded paws that display large tufts of fur. They have a shorter, fluffy tail that resembles either a skunk - or a raccoon, and is either held high or dragged low behind the Honey Bear.

They are born with stripes, most kittens will lighten in color as they mature, although some Honey Bears coats darken with time and these stripes will reappear. As they age, the Honey Bears coat colors will change, and these stripes may turn into spots, fade or even disappear. Remaining stripes are usually found on the tail, legs or head and face areas. Characteristics and TemperamentThey love to be handled and will "flop" in your arms once they get to know you. Honey Bears love attention and are eager to please.
